The ladies on the photo above were the team behind this year’s first Blissmakerie which was held last September 13. This was also the first public Blissmakerie, and there could be no better team to work on the event because these four ladies make bliss everyday. Here’s how they make bliss:
Martine, the woman who gave birth to the Blissmakerie concept and who got us to collaborate with her (thank you, Marts!!!), makes bliss by turning what she loves doing into a career — blogging and digital branding, community-building, and even photography!
Audrey, my partner-in-crime (heehee), is grateful for everything in her life — and this is exactly why she’s able to make bliss. She makes bliss by striving to become better at her job and at the same time, inspiring others through art and creativity.
Rikka, the youngest member of the team, makes bliss by juggling the demands of being a young mom with managing events and websites.
April, our special guest speaker and the lady responsible for sparking the art scene in Davao, makes bliss by using a difficult experience to grow into the person she’s meant to become.
BLISS: One word, demonstrated differently by four different individuals in their own unique ways.
They’re the perfect group of people to bring the first Blissmakerie to the public because they do inspire all of us to live out whatever it is that makes them feel blissful. I am honored to be among the four of you. Again, thank you, Marts.
The said Blissmakerie was held last September 13 at Mateo’s Restaurant and Cafe. 35 individuals graced the event, all with the hope of becoming inspired to follow their own bliss. Thankfully, they were not only inspired but everyone had a good time! Scroll down for event highlights.

Okay, just to close this entry, one thing I’ve learned about FINDING BLISS is this: To find bliss, you have to be grateful for whatever you have and whatever you are. This I have learned in the recent weeks. That’s the first step toward finding bliss. If you are truly grateful, you won’t have a difficult time making things blissful right where you are.
Thank you all for coming. Until the next one!
