Video: Our Trip to The Cordilleras

sagada 6

If you want to visit The Cordilleras and are wondering where to go, check out the video below!  As you’ll see in the video, we spent the most part in Sagada, Mountain Province! You’ll also notice that I’m not in the cave scenes — I didn’t go because I was too scared, haha.  Instead, I spent it exploring the town proper and meeting some new people.  Will tell you about it later but first, do watch the video!

Thankful to have a friend who documents everything and compiles them into awesome videos.  Thanks, Gian, for this! :)

Now, here are some of the other things that I enjoyed which weren’t highlighted in the video:

The Bulul, the guardians of the Ifugao rice granaries (Banaue)

My new friend!!! Her Igorot name is Ban-ay while her Christian name is Raisa! Played with her when I was too manang to go to the caves! She's sooo cute!

Sagada was host to an international event, the Gongs and Bamboo Music Festival! Different reps from ASEAN countries celebrated ethnic music and showcased Southeast Asian cultural values and traditions. I just love the Vietnamese national costume (in photo)!

Amazing how so much culture is still being preserved up north.  Oh Philippines, you are beautiful. <3

This is a good idea! This convinced me to do video blogging.. But sometimes I get too excited to explore the place so I forget to take videos haha. It also made me miss the Philippines… :)

Cool video! Traveling really makes for good video blogging! It makes me feel as if I am there. I remember my trek to Ditumabo Falls. These are pockets of adventures!

Ah, I want to experience the coldness up in there again! I’ve been to Banaue, but not yet in Sagada. I’m including it in my travel list this year. :)
